The score.
The assumptions.

21 questions across seven categories. The model, weights and limitations stay open to inspection.

1. Answers and category scores

Choices map to explicit risk values from 0 to 100. Numeric answers use published bands. Each category is the rounded weighted mean of answered questions. Missing answers are excluded.

2. Overall score and bands

The overall score is the rounded weighted mean of assessed categories. Money, Time, Cash and Execution have weight 1; Margin has 1.2; Focus and Data have 0.8.

Score rangeRisk band
0 / 24Tight
25 / 49Watch
50 / 74Leaking
75 / 100Critical

3. Priority order

Up to three categories with scores of 25 or higher appear as priorities. The highest score comes first. Without revenue information, the others follow score order. When revenue is provided, model impact factors also affect the remaining order.

4. Illustrative financial ranges

Each range uses the category score divided by 100, multiplied by the midpoint of the selected monthly revenue range and the lower or upper model factor. Amounts are rounded to one hundredth of the selected currency. No currency conversion occurs, and team size does not affect this calculation. These illustrative ranges are not validated financial forecasts. Categories may overlap, so do not add the amounts together.

5. AI data readiness

Readiness is 100 minus the weighted risk mean for time tracking, money-data systems, visible client profitability, profit confidence and tool count. The first two have weight 2 and the rest weight 1. Below 40 is Low, 40 to 69 is Medium, 70 to 100 is High. Missing inputs are excluded; no inputs means Not assessed.

6. Answer coverage and limitations

Coverage is full when every applicable question is answered. Otherwise, 60% or more is reduced coverage and less than 60% is low coverage. The retainer question is excluded when marked not applicable. Coverage measures completeness, not accuracy. The assessment uses your answers and does not verify accounting, security, legal compliance or cause and effect.

How additional details inform your report

The six optional refinements do not change RADAR v1 question weights. Service model, evidence basis and chosen focus guide interpretation. Meeting share is reported meeting hours divided by reported weekly hours, multiplied by 100. Administration share uses the same formula. Neither is automatically wasted time; they may overlap and must not be added. Collection time minus typical payment terms is a comparison of two reported values, not invoice-level proof of lateness.

Mark retainer re-costing not applicable only if the business has no retainers. It is excluded from both scoring and the applicable-question count; unanswered questions remain missing. AI readiness always shows its five-input coverage; a partial score is not labelled Low, Medium or High. Contradiction checks flag answers for review without changing them.

Priority actions use the largest weighted answer contribution within each priority category. Positive signals require an answered risk value of 24 or less. The 7/14/30-day plan suggests review windows, not expected savings. All guidance is deterministic and based on these rules; no external AI receives the answers.
