Where Asana is stronger

  • If the team needs task coordination only, without finance, Asana’s task features may be all it needs.
  • Workload on Advanced and capacity planning on Enterprise.
  • Unlimited free guests on every plan.

Where PLYNT fits better

  • Invoices, expenses, receivables and the 13-week cash flow overview are included. Asana’s pricing page does not list them.
  • Time approval is part of every plan. In Asana it needs the Timesheets & Budgets add-on.
  • A flat price per workspace and a Georgian interface.

Before you switch

Keep Asana for task coordination while you run one client’s time, invoices and costs in PLYNT for a month. If the finance picture is what you were missing, move the tasks for that client next.
